N40 Clothing Brand

BRAND IDENTITY | CLOTHING TAGS | BUSINESS CARDS: Seattle social entrepreneur, Naomi Davidson, designed a line of upcycled active wear that reimagined clothing otherwise headed towards the landfill, mitigating mass-market waste streams. While each garment is based on a standard pattern, the random variations of her use of traditionally men’s fabrics made each shirt completely original.

She wanted her brand essence to feel improvised and handmade, be easily visible on a small label. In the logo studies, I focused on marks that would be memorable and capture that Seattle pop culture vibe that Naomi embodied as well as the handmade quality that her brand was all about. In order to save money, the clothing label and the business card utilized the same dieline and carried the theme through. Printed on recycled paper (of course).
