Summer for Starbucks Asia meant the introduction of new Frappuccino flavors, using strong ingredient cues to help boost awareness of the imaginative beverages. They saw it as a chance to create an emotional connection with their aging millennial base and upcoming centennial base.

They defined three distinct phases of summer: S1: Big and bold, dreamy and creamy, and fruity and juicy. The in-house Starbucks team had already created a kit of parts. It was up to the Oasis team to put the graphics into action in an experiential way that would entice frequent purchases and increase loyalty.
